Easter Table Styling: Where Hospitality Begins

Easter table styling is never just about decoration. It is about creating a moment — a table that feels warm, generous, and alive. For me, hosting has always been one of the most beautiful ways to bring a space to life. Not simply filling a room with people, but allowing it to become something more than it is on an ordinary day.

Inspired by my mother, who showed me that hospitality is not about perfection but about connection, I curate tables that tell a story, celebrate the season, and honor the people gathered around them.

I’ve used a white linen tablecloth, falling generously to the floor, in that way nobody can see the table and I’ve placed benches with some sheepskin rugs on it, so the mood is casual.

The Art of Easter Table Styling

On the Riviera, we have the chance to spend Easter outdoors. Even though it’s the beginning of spring, the days are starting to be warmer and sunny.

The Art of Hosting and Living

Hospitality is part of who I am. I learned it from my mother, who hosted with ease and without ever chasing perfection. What mattered was how people felt—welcomed, relaxed, at home.

Her table was always alive. Ingredients were shared, plates assembled together, and her handmade ceramics sparked quiet conversations.

When I’m hosting, my home truly feels at its best. So yes, thank you, Mom — for showing me that hospitality is not about how much you have, or how perfectly you execute, but how you make people feel. For teaching me that warmth is the most important ingredient, and that a table is, above all, a place for connection.

When I’m hosting, my home truly feels at its best.

A Riviera Way of Gathering

Bringing people together is one of my greatest joys — I love being the glue, the one who curates those heartwarming traditions around the table with my family.

Villa Les Loups has witnessed this again and again. Birthday celebrations that turn into long, slow evenings. Weekend brunches that stretch into the afternoon. Dinner parties where no one is in a hurry to leave.

I believe in open doors. In generous tables. In creating spaces where people feel comfortable enough to stay longer than planned. The magic happens when the table becomes a stage for interaction—guests cooking together, opening bottles, moving freely between rooms. That is when a house truly comes alive.

I generally create my centerpieces from what we grow in our garden – whether it’s flowers, or lemons from our fruit trees, or just greenery.

Think Beyond the Objects in Your Easter Table Styling

I’m not drawn to trends that turn the table into a display. Covering a table with vegetables that won’t be eaten, simply because they look beautiful, has never made sense to me. The same goes for flowers. You’ll never find extravagant bouquets on my table, the kind that cost more than the meal itself and fade within days.

My Easter table styling doesn’t follow expected codes – no carrots or porcelain eggs. I don’t spend time tying ribbons around napkins or orchestrating details that feel forced. It’s not that I don’t care — it’s quite the opposite.

Consider thinking beyond flowers for centerpieces ideas. For my Easter table styling,  my mom’s ceramics bring lovely colors and intricate textures. She had taken inspiration from Easter and spring colours, but reinterpreted them entirely in her own way.

What You Already Have Is Enough for Your Easter Table Styling

My friends always laugh at me because I have a lot of vessels. And when I say a lot — trust me, it’s a lot. I have dinnerware for every occasion. Summer lunches that call for something light and sun-washed, festive winter dinners with deeper tones and heavier textures, beach picnics that feel a little more carefree. It might sound excessive to some, but to me, it’s pure joy.

I’ve always loved vintage. As an interior designer and stylist, I spend so much time sourcing unique, vintage pieces for my interiors projects. And naturally, some of them stay with me. They become part of my daily life and of course part of my table.

I discovered these handmade crystal glassware in Firenze at La Ménagère (a wonderful instagram find). My vintage fringed napkins add a touch of feminine charm.

I’ve always found inspiration in Aerin Lauder and Ricky Lauren’s tables. They have an approachable and natural style.

Right now, on the Riviera, lemons are everywhere. I paired them with my vintage blue china, and instantly, the table felt Mediterranean. Then I added bamboo-handled flatware, a favorite choice to bring in that easygoing attitude and outdoor spirit.

For the glassware, I chose delicate, modern Italian crystal pieces, handcrafted in Firenze. They were a special find when I was traveling in Italy.

Before setting everything, I walked through the garden and foraged a few sprigs of rosemary.

To finish, I decorated the table with my mom’s latest ceramics, stacked proudly where everyone can see them.

And just like that, the table began to speak.
