Lush green plants frame the scene, in the distance, boats glide gracefully across the sparkling water, inviting you to unwind and explore. Carpe Diem
A gentle ode to Carpe Diem – where time slows down and life is lived with intention fully in the moment. The everyday becomes rituals, and simplicity feels sacred. The luxury is found in the quiet pleasure of walking barefoot across cool stone floors, letting the light move slowly through the house, listening to a podcast while the breeze shifts the curtains. Time feels softer here.
It activates all the senses – the taste of a sweet tomato ripened in the sun, the smell of the salty sea, the sweet and spicy aromas of natural mediterranean groves with olive trees, citrus, capers, and figs.
We feel the warmth of tradition in every smell as our grandmothers’ recipes fill the room, served generously for all to share. We let the afternoon drift lazily into a golden evening. We pass plates without thinking, our hands brushing, our voices weaving stories into the low pulse of music. Time loosens its grip, and for a while, we live only here — the quiet luxury of being together.
Every moment becomes a cherished memory. It’s the kind of living that turns the ordinary into something unforgettable.

True Luxury Is Quiet
It’s about feeling fully at ease in an exceptional space — enjoying the beauty of your surroundings without ever feeling intimidated by them. Take my own home, for example: my dogs run freely through the garden and then come inside to sprawl out on a white sheepskin rug.
However refined a space may be, it must reflect your personality and create a sense of harmony that celebrates your story and lifestyle. Your home should make your life better. That’s why, in my homes, everything tells a story. A decorative object, the atmosphere of a room, the scent of an herbal pot, or the color of a wall — each one is a little madeleine de Proust, a memory woven into the space, making it all the more beautiful.
There’s a beauty in the way the sun hits a linen curtain, in the soft imperfections of a handmade ceramic bowl, in the quiet joy of preparing a table for loved ones. That beauty, rooted in nature and guided by the seasons, is what inspires everything we do at KS Studio Design.

Amidst the soft glow of the afternoon sun, a game of cards unfolds on a crisp white table, accompanied by pistachio Amaretti. It’s a celebration of slow-living, where every moment is savored. Bless The Mess
Mediterranean living is about embracing imperfection, authenticity, and life as it is. It’s the joyful chaos left behind after a long dinner with family and friends, the kitchen buzzing with warmth and clinking glasses. The morning after the party is sometimes even prettier than the party. It’s the layers of lived-in interiors. Cushions tossed around the sofa, snacks still on the table, a deck of cards left mid-game. Because in the end, the mess is proof that we were all there, together.
Chasing The Sun
The Mediterranean light is alive, vibrant and ever-changing. As the sun moves, so do we—shifting from bright, sun-drenched spots to soft, shaded corners, savoring the dance between heat and coolness.
We feel the Mediterranean light breathe life into every season. Living here means moving in harmony with nature’s rhythm: the fresh, bright scent of spring blossoms, the warm, earthy tones of late summer leaves, the crisp air that carries whispers of winter to come.
The seasons set the mood naturally, inspiring our menu, the vibe, and the whole experience. It’s not just about following the calendar, but really tuning into nature’s flow and letting that influence everything. It’s the rhythm that guides how we shape spaces, curate ingredients, and craft experiences.

My Mediterranean roots are inspired by a lifestyle grounded in well-being — where luxury meets simplicity, authenticity, and a deep connection to nature.
Surrounded by greenery, with only birdsong in the background, you begin to feel the quiet contrast: the world in constant motion, while here, everything gently slows. This art of living embodies an effortless elegance, where every detail invites us to savor the present moment.

From our house in Brittany with its garden overlooking the ocean and our morning fishing rituals, to the family house nestled in the countryside surrounded by our beloved bee garden, to our sun-drenched haven in the South of France where the vegetable garden thrives and finally to our dolce-vita style apartment in Italy — each place carries its own rhythm, its own stories and flavors.
KS dressed the table with a casual vibe. The focal point of the table is the joy of being together. There’s something timeless and grounding about gathering around a table . But more and more, the real magic is not about the perfect plate. It’s more in the energy.
