First things first, Cassandre tell us about your journey and what led you to found KS STUDIO ?

Cassandre Fusari : My journey has been somewhat unconventional. Graduated in Finance, I started my career in the Banking industry before finding my true calling in interior design. I absolutely love being in my home, I am a homebody person.

To me, a home is a sanctuary – a place to reconnect, to create memories and be inspired. It’s where our dreams take shape. In my home, everything tells a story. A decorative object, the mood of a room, the scent of an aromatic plant – they are all little madeleines de Proust that make the spaces come alive.

As more and more people appreciated what I had created, the idea of founding KS STUDIO naturally came to life – a way to share my world.

First things first, Cassandre tell us about your journey and what led you to found KS STUDIO ?

 Quiet Luxury – how do you manage to strike that balance in your creations ?

Cassandre Fusari : True luxury is timeless. It’s about feeling fully at ease in an exceptional space — enjoying the beauty of your surroundings without ever feeling intimidated by them.

Take my own home, for example: my dogs run freely through the garden and then comes inside to sprawl out on a white sheepskin rug.

This balance between aesthetics and functionality is our KS STUDIO DESIGN signature.

No matter how refined or luxurious, our interiors must meet our needs and reflect the way we truly live. Your home should make your life better.

I also focus on creating spaces with a warm, harmonious atmosphere, where nature is invited in through the play of light and through materials like linen, raw wood, wool, stone, and leather. Every element has its purpose

Cassandre Fusari: For some, it’s a calling – an expertise developed over time resulting in a finely honed skill.
For me, craft means dedication, heritage and attention to detail creating personalized experiences with a passion and a client centric approach that redefine luxury. I always lean toward craftsmanship. I want to break away from the image of industry and its standardized perfection—because only handmade objects can truly bring soul to materials.

Where do you draw your inspiration from when it comes to interior design?

Cassandre Fusari: My phone is basically my photo notebook. Whenever I’m out and something stops me in my tracks—a breathtaking sunset, the way autumn colors melt into each other, a beautifully set dining table —I snap a photo.

I love going back to those images to break them down, look at every detail, and figure out what makes the whole scene feel so magical. That’s the kind of thing that sparks my creativity.

Cassandre Fusari:Every project we take on at KS STUDIO DESIGN is like writing a new story with the client. From the very beginning, we work closely with clients’ architect to shape the layout, making sure the flow of the house matche their rhythm of life. We are here for every step—translating their wishes into drawings, then into actions, coordinating with contractors, artisans, and suppliers so everything came together
seamlessly.

For the furnishing, we curate a mix of designer pieces, vintage treasures sourced on flea markets and gallery, KS HOME collections, and custom designs made by our favorite craftsmen. We take care of everything, down to the last detail, from logistics and storage to delivery.

And then come the final phase—the setup. That’s always such an exciting moment, as the project truly comes to life. When the walls are painted, the lighting is in, the fabrics are hung… and we start placing each object, each piece of furniture, like composing a scene.

What I love most is seeing the client walk in for the first time and feel like the placealready knows them. That’s what I aim for: creating interiors that are not just beautiful, but that feel alive—that feels like it already holds stories.
